The theory behind this year’s race is as follows: by entering your registration details you are acquiring a ticket to the Grandstand. Once the Qualifier patterns are released you will submit your finished socks to become a racer and join the others on the racing oval. If you cannot finish your Qualifier socks, submit your best effort when the window opens. You will remain the the Grandstand, but be granted a “second chance” to get into the racing oval; you must complete the Lap 1 socks within the given time frame and you will re-join with your team. If you are in the Grandstand but unable to complete the Lap 1 socks you will lose access to the future designs, basically your race season is done. You will retain access to the Registration Bonus and Qualifier patterns but that will be all.
We are looking for active racers not just a crowd to sit in the GrandStand and collect patterns.
